It might just be, and here’s why… January is often when prospective business buyers have the time to sit down and do a bit of forward planning and subsequent investigating.   3. Legacy (business driven)

Whilst Financial is often the one that is led with (because it is the most tangible place to start), it is not the only reason to sell. Freedom and Legacy play equally important roles in determining when to go to market and even who to sell your business to.

Picture this….
Today, via iphone and Skype, I spoke to a potential seller (based in the UK) and my Singaporean colleague (based in the car around Melbourne) as I sat in my car in East Bentleigh.

We were discussing this global business, understanding more about it, with the view to taking it to market, to be offered both in Australia and overseas.

Not so long back, I could never have dreamed of doing such a thing, without considerable effort and cost. Now, we had it sorted in no time, it was just a matter of locking it in the diary.

My, how the world has connected.
No reason to not live the “global citizen” life, not any more. And all from the comfyness of one’s car… excellent!
