What constitutes a business buyer?
My colleagues and I stood at a whiteboard today and nutted out the profile stages of a Business Buyer, according to what their stage in life may look like. What with the growing demographic numbers of baby boomers slowly but surely coming on to mature-age, the PM and Treasurers desire for all to work until 70 years old and the nature of the financial commitments families have made to lifestyle… there is a pot about to boil over!
Why? because the thinking that has got us to here cannot be the thinking that gets us out.
- will people be able to do the same work from 50?
- will people be able to do the same work until 70?
- will people have enough money to keep them in the lifestyle they’ve become accustomed to?
- will people maintain their health and wealth to live the life of choice?
In the current environments, maybe not…
